
Helping M&S cultivate a £3 million brand
The Brief
M&S wanted a re-designed display that emphasised the quality of the top tier flower range. Their aim was to build Autograph Flowers into a million pound brand. Our role was to provide an in-store platform which would allow the quality of the flowers to speak for themselves.
The Action
The initial trial took place at M&S’s prestigious King’s Road store.
The new displays were original yet consistent with the M&S Autograph message, and successfully communicated that these flowers were ‘The Best of the Best’.
Stunning photographs of flowers mounted on huge posters instantly caught the eye and mirrored the elegance and quality of the flowers themselves. The gloss black background of the posters and the galvanised iron buckets were refined but simple, placing the quality of the flowers in centre stage.
The Results
Sales jumped by 55% in the first month. Within the year, Autograph Flowers had become a £3 million brand.
